Beach House 09

Another summer coming to a close, another wonderful week at the beach house in Rhode Island! This year was by far the best! The family, all 28 of us and counting, ate, drank, swam, watched 'Jaws', ate Dunkin's finest and drank Del's like no bodies business! I have got to hand it to the Oliver family......they know the meaning of good clean family fun (two socks rolled together, this ones for you!)!

Ryan and I are glad to be home but already can't wait for the next time we get to see the family again!

Happy May..........I mean almost June. Ryan and I have been really busy this past month and it doesn't seem to be slowing down anytime soon.

Our little buddy Yeagrrr is a bit sick right now and we hope that he starts to feel better soon.

Went to Zion National Park last weekend with some very 'old', yes we are all over 30 now, friends! It was a blast! We are very lucky to have such wonderful people in our life!

Fru-tah!

So... Fruita was pretty fantastical, as usual. we drove in friday night and things were looking iffy. a lot of wind and some ominous clouds had us concerned. we resorted to drinking in the car sitting in the parking lot for an hour or so because of the wind. also, we learned that almost half of our party from the greater Denver area decided to bail because of the 2 feet of snow they would surely drive through going over the passes. anyway, the weather cleared and it was warm and sunny all day Sat and Sun. biked with old friends and made some new friends from Salida, CO. drank a smidge too much (vurping on the first climb Sun morning. yum!) but that's to be expected. all in all, a stellar weekend.

nice day... 50 deg and good spring snow. we gave 'er hell for 2 hours, took and hour for lunch, and went home. we're totally core!

Rocket and I are back in the old hood, SLC which is super duper fantastic! Never thought I would miss it here but I do!

ALL OF MY FRIENDS are having babies, yes everyone, even the boys!

We are gearing up for the mtn bike season with Rocket setting his sights on the Single Speed World Champion race. Seriously, Josh J and he entered a coloring contest and are in! Scares me!
